We're Tania and Kieron — a New Zealand couple who left conventional life behind in 2022 to travel and live full-time in Southeast Asia. Lombok, Indonesia is currently our base, and we travel regularly throughout the region.
Our destination content consistently ranks in Google search for the places we cover, and Slower Travels has been featured in The Nook and Spend Life Traveling. We're particularly well placed to review products, stays, and experiences in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia — because we're actually there.

We only review what we've actually used, stayed in, or done ourselves. That's what makes our content useful to our readers — and valuable to our partners.
Product reviews & affiliate partnerships
We partner with travel brands whose products are relevant to how we actually travel — eSIMs, travel insurance, finance tools, gear, and apps. Reviews are written entirely by us, based on real testing on the road. Both Tania and Kieron test products where relevant, so you get honest feedback from two travellers.
If your product has an affiliate programme, we include your link and earn commission on referrals — a model that works for both of us long after publication. If there's no affiliate programme, we charge a flat content fee.

Stay reviews & hotel partnerships
We have an established track record of writing detailed, honest accommodation reviews across Southeast Asia — from budget guesthouses to boutique stays. Our reviews are SEO-optimised and built to help travellers make real decisions, which means they continue driving referral traffic long after publication.
We're open to partnerships at all levels — budget, mid-range, boutique, and luxury — and always disclose complimentary stays transparently. We work with properties directly or through platforms like Booking.com and Agoda.com.

Experience reviews & tour operator partnerships
We're based in Lombok, Indonesia and travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia — which puts us in a genuinely useful position to review tours and experiences in the region. We're not parachuting in for a week. We know the destinations, the context, and what travellers actually need to know before they book.
We're currently looking to partner with tour operators for experiences across Indonesia and beyond — from multi-day treks and adventure tours to cultural experiences and day trips. Reviews are written from real participation, not a press release.
